This entry is part 8 of 8 in the series Sunday Recap

A new year upon us but no rest for the crypto wicked. Lots to take in this last week from a rare fair mainstream article on crypto to MimbleWimble explored, 2018 predictions revisited and new ones made, to a very interesting take on DPOS from an Asian based EOS sister chain. A lot has been left on the editing floor but hopefully what remains will be of interest and or use to crypto enthusiasts and newcomers alike. As always, I don’t necessarily agree with the conclusions of each tweeted perspective or the analysis of every article but found within them something challenging/interesting/compelling.

Lisk Academy – excellent resource with basic videos explaining basic crypto concepts. Always a range of more in-depth articles with helpful graphics. Generally, not Lisk specific content:

There you have it. I hope the post proved worth your attention. As always, looking forward to your suggestions, comments and critiques.

Note on Sources:

Twitter & Reddit (cryptos current meta-brains) / Medium / Trybe / Hackernoon / Whaleshares and so on/ YouTube / various podcasts and whatever else I stumble upon. The aim is a useful weekly aggregator of ideas rather than news. Though I try to keep the sources current – I’ll reference these articles and podcasts etc. as I encounter them – they may have been published just a couple of days ago or in some cases quite a bit earlier.

Thanks, @niramiai. Sold all my XVG about 8 months ago – haven’t really tracked it closely since then. Having said that – code is (was) leaky, network vulnerable, so I don’t have very high hopes for it (but not up to date on Verge)
